We're in CHINA!
We are finally in China, after 24 hours of traveling. We now have not slept in 48 hours so we are headed for bed. It is 8:24 pm here on Saturday, but 8:24 am there where you are. I'm having trouble with this blogspot. I can make the post, but then I can't view it. I need your help. If you are reading this and you can see the picture below of Maria and Jillian, please leave a comment and let me know that it is posting as usual. I think it is posting, but I just can't view it from here. Thanks. Tomorrow we will start our day at 7:30. We will tour the Forbidden City, The Great Wall, and Tienamen (sp?) Square. Hopefully I'll have pictures posted tomorrow night. We will be returning to the hotel around 8:30. Then on Monday morning we got to Changsha to get LAINIE! We are trying to take in all of the sights and sounds of Beijing, but all we really want to do is get to her. Only 2 more sleeps - and she'll be with us. We can't believe it.

We got it and are thankful that you all arrived safely. The photo of Maria & Jillian came through. It was turned sideways but otherwise clear as a bell. We are headed off today to Will's and Trey's ball games. Sleep tight.
Heavenly Father, thank you for safety in travel for Jennifer, Bobby, and Jackie. Grant them peaceful and restful sleep and rest from their weary journey. Thank you for taking care of people we love when they are out of our reach. Begin now, we ask, to do Your final preparations in Lainie's heart and life--prepare her to receive the love and grace that that you have taught all of us to live by. Amen.

I am so thankful that you have arrived. I have prayed for you many times already. Enjoy your tours so that you can share all of it with Lainie as she grows up. We are praying for her as she meets her new family. We love you!

How exciting to be able to see some of the most famous landmarks from Lainie's birth country! Take lots of pictures and soak it all in, before you know it you will be back home wondering how the China time went so quickly!
