Where does the summer go ?

Beach Beauty....

First June slipped by, then July came and went and now we are facing the middle of August and it is back to school already. We've packed in tons of activities this summer. We went to the beach with my parents in June and with Bobby's family in July. Trey and Jillian have been to numerous sports camps. Will attended his first baseball camp. Trey's All star baseball team came in 2nd in the state championship. We spent a week in Tabor City, NC for that tournament. We've soaked in lots of sun by the pool, grilled out with family and friends, had orthodontist and dentist appointments and spent late nights watching TV. We've slept late, eaten lots of peanut butter and jelly and played Wii when it was too hot go outside. Lainie has been a real trooper through all of our running around. She is putting many, many sentences together and she has just recently become bold enough to protest things she doesn't like. We've had a great summer spending time together. It just doesn't get any better than this. Enjoy the pictures......

I just couldn't resist comparing these last two pictures. The first is Lainie on the day that we met her in May 07. The second is Lainie now. I'd say there has been quite a transformation. Isn't it amazing what LOVE can do?
